This agreement is an exclusive rights contract for beats where the producer of the instrumental beat gives the artist the exclusive right to use the beat in unlimited recordings and without distribution limits.

This agreement template is most often made between a recording artist and a record label.

This agreement template gives the songwriter a share of certain rights and income that he or she would not be entitled to.

Under an exclusive songwriter agreement, or “staff writer” contract, the songwriter agrees to assign the entire publisher’s share of everything written during a set period to one publishing company.
